Description

A cowboy on horseback swings a lasso toward massive, churning waves that crash against a dark beach, while onlookers stand scattered across the sand in silhouette. The black and white photograph captures a surreal collision of Old West iconography with oceanic power, rendered in stark contrast against a misty, dramatic sky. About The Artist

Casey Hagerman is an artist and board-certified Health Coach. With a background in Reiki and Feng Shui, Casey is passionate about whole-person health (body, mind, and soul) and found her own healing through collage art. She finds inspiration from emotion or subject, creating dreamy, transportive scenes featuring people, animals, and nature as inspiration. Each piece is created by hand using magazines, photographs, or digital images to convey a feeling, mood, and perspective. These creations are meant to bring color, joy, and a contemplative break from the day-to-day norms. Casey is based in San Anselmo and is a native of San Francisco.
